Jordyn McVicar

Jordyn McVicar is a vital part of the team at Elite Sports Training Center, where she combines her athletic background, technical expertise, and passion for youth development to help drive the center’s digital presence and community engagement. Jordyn manages a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing social media platforms, maintaining and updating the website, and leading marketing efforts that highlight the success and growth of Elite athletes and programs.

With over a decade of competitive volleyball experience, Jordyn understands the mindset and work ethic required to excel in high-level athletics. She played at the NCAA Division I level for Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), where she developed both as an athlete and a leader. After suffering a career-ending ACL and meniscus injury, Jordyn made the decision to turn adversity into opportunity—shifting her focus to coaching and mentoring young volleyball players. Her firsthand experience with injury and recovery has made her an empathetic and inspiring coach who emphasizes resilience, mindset, and long-term development.

Jordyn’s impact at Elite goes beyond the court. Her background in education—where she serves as a full-time teacher—gives her a unique ability to connect with student-athletes both academically and athletically. She brings a thoughtful, balanced approach to youth development, emphasizing character, discipline, and communication in everything she does.

Whether she’s capturing game-day highlights, designing digital content, mentoring athletes, or helping build Elite’s brand from the ground up, Jordyn is a key contributor to the center’s mission of creating a top-tier training environment that supports the whole athlete.
