Alex Najera
Coach Alex is a dedicated athlete and mentor who brings high-level playing experience to Elite Sports Training Center's coaching staff. A four-year varsity player at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Alex posted an impressive career batting average of .353 and was a consistent offensive contributor throughout his collegiate career.
As a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team, Coach Alex contributed to one of the most commanding runs in NCAA Division III Championship history. The Warhawks captured the national title with a decisive 21-5 victory over Messiah University, setting a Division III record by scoring 74 runs across five games en route to the program’s third national championship.
Before college, Alex was a standout at St. Charles North High School, earning All-Conference honors and helping lead his team to a State Final appearance in 2019. As a three-year varsity player and an Illinois State Scholar in 2022, Alex balanced elite performance on the field with academic excellence.
Coach Alex is passionate about sharing his knowledge and work ethic with the next generation of athletes, focusing on player development, confidence, and competing at the highest level.
