Tristan Cazel

Tristan Cazel brings a strong background in collegiate baseball, sports performance, and player development to the coaching staff. He is a former pitcher at Biola University, a Division II program in the competitive PacWest Conference, Cazel made 37 appearances as an Eagle. His standout season came in 2023, when he posted a stellar 2.41 ERA across 15 appearances as a back-end reliever, holding opponents to a .197 batting average and recording a 10-game scoreless streak. 

 

Cazel’s commitment extended beyond the field, earning him multiple academic honors, including Academic All-PacWest, D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, and CSC Academic All-District recognition.

Prior to his time at Biola, Cazel was part of St. Charles North High School's second-place state finish in 2019 and helped lead Parkland College to a regional appearance in 2021. He also contributed to Biola’s 2025 Conference Tournament run.

Off the field, Cazel gained valuable experience as a Performance Intern with Biola’s Sports Performance department, working with six different varsity programs through 2025. He also trained in advanced pitching development, biomechanics, and pitch design with Premier Pitching Performance (P3) in St. Louis, Missouri—further sharpening his expertise in maximizing pitcher potential through data-driven training.
